What is PLAZA Double Boiled Linseed Oil (DBLO) ?

PLAZA Raw Linseed Oil is heated at a very high temperature and the air is blown to produce PLAZA DBLO. Heating the oil causes it to polymerize and oxidize, effectively making it thicker and shortening its drying time. It dries more quickly and completely and forms the slightly glossy finish that showcases wood perfection. The oil gently penetrates wood, effectively forming a tough finish to seal and protect the wood’s surface. PLAZA DBLO is a dark amber colored oil having a distinctively sharp smell. It is very water resistant and also a rust inhibitor. It has a much higher viscosity (Like Honey) when compared to raw linseed oil.

  • PLAZA Double Boiled Linseed Oil is highly refined and filtered through various stages so as to make it suitable for various general building applications.
